Artistic Integrity
As much as my films are boring, I still feel a need to stick to my artistic integrity.
at the very least, I am not letting myself down.

There was a Father

Yasujiro Ozu’s There Was A Father (1942)
Filmed before Tokyo Story, this film touches on the topic on the distant relationship between the father and the son despite the former giving all his best for the latter.
only two main character yet a powerful story, that resonates with me. almost a reflection on my own relationship with my father.

Spring Suitcase
A cross between Hirokazu Kore-eda’s ‘Still Walking’, Hou Hsiao Hsien ‘Cafe Lumiere’, Yasujiro Ozu’s ‘Tokyo Story’, Edward Yang’s ‘Yiyi’ and Ang Lee’s ‘Eat Drink Man Woman’
maybe a rip-off too. -( sigh

‘Poop’ by Chong Tze Chien, The Finger Players.
Missed it last year but managed to catch it with my sister.
Loved the topic that explores death. -)
